Dholpur Red Sandstone is a natural sandstone quarried primarily around Sarmathura in the Dholpur district of Rajasthan, India. The region is known for deposits of red and reddish-brown sandstone that have been used in Indian architecture for centuries. The material is also commonly associated with the term Agra Red Sandstone because red sandstone from this broader region has been widely used in historic architecture around Agra.
The stone has a long record of use in forts, temples, havelis, monuments, boundary walls, and other traditional structures across northern India. Its established architectural use has continued into contemporary construction and landscape design.
Dholpur Red Sandstone is processed into slabs, tiles, paving units, wall panels, steps, sills, coping, and custom architectural components. Flooring and paving are common applications, particularly for courtyards, terraces, pathways, gardens, and institutional areas. It is also used for wall cladding and facade elements where a natural sandstone surface is required.
In landscape architecture, the material can be fabricated for garden paving, retaining features, seating elements, pool surrounds, and landscape borders. Its technical suitability depends on factors such as thickness, water absorption, surface finish, installation method, and exposure conditions. For export orders, quarry origin, dimensional tolerances, finish, packing, and inspection requirements should be confirmed before production.

Quality Marble Exports (India) has been mining, processing, and exporting natural stone from Rajasthan and Gujarat since 1994, making it one of Udaipur's longest established stone export houses. The company operates as a fully mechanized, 100% export oriented unit with two dedicated processing facilities: a marble processing unit in the RIICO Industrial Area, Sukher, Udaipur, and a granite processing unit in Ranchor Nagar Industrial Area, Jalore, Rajasthan, supported by the company's own granite quarry at Pataliya village, Idar taluka, Sabarkantha district, Gujarat. Owning the quarry alongside both processing units gives Quality Marble direct control over block selection, colour and vein consistency, and lead times, from rough block through to finished slab and tile.
The product range covers Indian marble, granite, sandstone, slate, and limestone in block, slab, and tile formats. Marble varieties include Green Marble, Forest Green Marble, Andy White Marble, and Rosy Pink; granite varieties include Kashmir White Granite, Black Galaxy Granite, Absolute Black Granite, Tan Brown, New Imperial Red, and Crystal Yellow; the range also extends to exotic stones such as Alaska Gold. Material is supplied polished or to the buyer's surface specification, cut to standard or custom sizes for flooring, wall cladding, countertops, vanity tops, monuments, and landscaping applications.
Manufacturing follows a defined production sequence: block procurement, gang sawing, edge cutting, sandblasting, waterproofing, quality inspection, packaging, stocking, and container loading, coordinated through to on site delivery. The facility runs on 100,000 square feet of production area with a current output of roughly five containers a month, and exports 91 to 100% of production under FOB, CIF, EXW, CIP, and FCA terms, invoiced in USD, EUR, or GBP, and shipped through Mundra, Chennai, and Jaipur ICD.
Over three decades of operation, Quality Marble Exports has supplied natural stone for landmark projects including the US Consulate, the Sidra Medicine and Research Center in Doha, Qatar, and The Avenues Mall in Kuwait, alongside ongoing supply relationships with architects, real estate developers, and stone importers across Saudi Arabia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Vietnam, Qatar, Russia, and Turkey. Managed by Zaki Chakkiwala from its Udaipur headquarters, the company combines quarry ownership, in house processing, and decades of export documentation experience to deliver consistent quality, on time shipment, and long term client relationships rather than one time transactions.
